Junior Golf Group Lessons

Our Junior Golf Group Lessons are designed to give kids a fun, welcoming introduction to the game of golf. Young golfers will learn the basics, build confidence, and develop their skills in an encouraging group setting focused on fun, friendship, and learning the game the right way.

Every other Wednesday from 5-5:45pm at Gull Lake View East & West

8 total days, May 13^th through August 19^th

Price- $30 per week for 1 child, $50 for 2 children and $20 for each after. Cash only

It is intended for beginners/intermediate golfers ages 7-16. Sign up at least 4 days before next lesson.

May 13th

Introductory to Golf – Range

Goals: Basic grip, stance and swing. Making contact.

Equipment: Pitching wedge/9 Iron or equivalent

5-5:30 – Show and tell basic golf fundamentals, 5:30-5:45- Closest to the pin

May 27^th

Intro to Putting – Putting Green

Goals: Basic Grip and Stance. Distance control

Equipment: Putter and 3 golf balls
5-5:15- Show and tell fundamentals, 5:15-5:30 Ladder drill, 5:30-5:45 Minigolf

June 10^th

Introduction to Driver – Range

Goals: Basic Grip, stance and swing. Making contact

Equipment: Driver or wood

5-5:30 Show and tell fundamentals, 5:30-5:45 Hitting the Fairway

June 24^th

Favorite Club – Range

Goals: Confidence, good contact

Equipment: Favorite Club (Not putter)

5-5:15 Warm up, 5:15-5:30 Half drill, 5:30-5:45 Grouping Drill

 July 8^th

Reading the Greens – Putting Green

Goals: How to read slope and be able to predict the line

Equipment: putter, ball and 9 tees

5-5:10 Find the Grid, 5:10-5:25 Make the Grid, 5:25-5:35 Gates,5:35-5:45 Simon Says

July 22^nd

Chipping – Range Chipping green

Goals: Hitting ball on the green and staying on the green

Equipment: Any 3 clubs but 1 must be a wedge

5-5:15 Show and tell basic chipping, 5:15-5:25 Proximity circle, 5:25-5:35 Ladder drill, 5:35-5:45 Knockout

August 5^th

Speed – Range

Goals: Swinging with power and making good contact

Equipment: Any 2 clubs

5-5:20 Warm up and just swinging, 5:20-5:30 Long shot,5:30-5:45 Long Drive

August 19^th

Fun Day- TBD
